INTRODUCING BASE BIKES

Our Story

When my oldest was ready for his first pedal bike, we wanted something he would find easy to learn and easy to handle, so that he would love to ride.

Frustratingly, the bikes we really wanted for him—lightweight, no coaster brakes, and kid-friendly geometry—were only available overseas.

Australian kids deserve a proper bike; the same quality bikes as our overseas counterparts. And so, base bikes was born.

We are a family-owned and operated Australian business. We're based in South Australia, in the stunning Adelaide Hills. We love bikes, we ride bikes, and we hope your family get out and ride more because of base bikes.
