How to choose the right size bike
The most reliable way to pick the right size bike is to measure your child's inseam and consult the table below. Although less reliable than the inseam, you can use your child's height or age.
We’ve put together a detailed guide with considerations and tips to help you choose the perfect bike size for your child. Check it out for more in-depth information!
Once your bike arrives, please confirm it fits your child well. Remember, you’re covered by our 100 day easy returns if it’s not just right.

A guide to inseam measurement

How to measure inseam video guide
- Have your child stand against a wall with feet slightly apart (without shoes on).
- Use a narrow book or similar and position between their legs, at the top of their legs, like a saddle.
- Ensuring the book is level, note where the top of the book touches the wall.
- The distance from the ground to the top of the book is the inseam measurement.
- Once you know which size you need, check out the base 16, base 20 or base balance or contact us if you need further support.
