base bikes competition – terms & conditions

Promoter: Bikes for Kids Pty Ltd t/a base bikes (ABN 37 675 771 641), PO Box 19, Crafers SA 5152.


1. Eligibility

  • Open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older located on the Australian mainland or Tasmania only, excluding offshore islands and external territories.

  • One entry per person. Duplicate entries will be removed.

  • Employees of base bikes and their immediate family members are not eligible.

  • Open to new email subscribers only.

2. How to Enter

  • Provide a valid email address via:

    • Completing the newsletter signup form on the base bikes website (not via the checkout page), or

    • Completing the newsletter signup via the QR code or paper form supplied at participating base bikes events.

  • Submission constitutes agreement to receive marketing communications from base bikes (including newsletters, product updates, promotions and offers) (you may unsubscribe at any time and still remain eligible).

  • Entry is free; no purchase necessary.

3. Prize

  • One (1) base bikes children’s bicycle (winner’s choice of available model/size/colour at time of draw, RRP up to AUD $675, shipping within mainland Australia and Tasmania included).

  • Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

4. Draw Details

  • Competition period: 00:00 ACST 21 July 2025 – 23:59 ACST 27 October 2025.

  • Draw date: 12:00 ACST 29 October 2025 at base bikes HQ, Crafers SA.

  • Winner chosen by random electronic draw from all valid entries.

  • Winner notified by email within 7 days of the draw. 
  • Upon notification, the winner must provide initial of the first name, last name and postcode, which will be announced on base bikes’ Instagram and website.
  • If the winner does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, a redraw will occur under the same conditions.

5. Privacy

  • Personal information is collected and handled in accordance with the base bikes Privacy Policy. 

6. General

  • base bikes may verify eligibility and refuse entries that are incomplete, incorrect or otherwise invalid.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition if events beyond its control require it, subject to applicable legislation.

  • By entering, participants accept these Terms & Conditions. The laws of South Australia govern this promotion.
